voiceless meets voice || Junkyung and Haneul

She smiled at his pout and comeback and just giggled in response. He was a cute guy definitely, but that didn’t mean she’d open up her heart just yet. If he proved trustworthy enough, maybe she’ll tell him that her real name is Haneul. But really, if he just thought a little, he could figure it out. I mean, Sky in Korean in Haneul. Wasn’t that kind of easy? She raised a brow at his question on what she’d be doing after she finished her drink, which would be real soon as she started seeing the bottom of her glass.
“I usually go home. What else would I do at 11 at night? I’m so tired after performing, I’d just like to plop down on my bed and go to sleep.” She finished her glass and gave it to the bartender and stood up to head out.
Junkyung looked up as she stood up. “But, 11 is a bit too early to be leaving, don’t you think? Normally I’d enjoy my time here and stay a bit longer…” He trailed off, slightly dejected as he looked down at his unfinished origami. To think he was able to finish by the time she was done with her drink, ridiculous! His origame skills hasn’t improved a single bit since Middle School, in fact, he may have suspected it declined greatly. He was having too much difficulty with the sides, which he supposedly have found easy when he was a kid. Uncertain of what he’ll do in Haru however, Junkyung shrugged, tucked the tissue somewhere safe and walked up to her. It was only then he noticed their height difference, making him smirk.
“I’ll follow you, a lady needs protection at this time of the night.” He snickered, emphasizing the time yet again. He honestly found it too early to be heading back and hitting the hay. He’d stay until the place closed or at least he tried, he often passed out on the counter by 2.30AM.
